Joanna Pope: Degrowth Aesthetics

Joanna Pope is a researcher with a focus on degrowth and ecocriticism. She is based at Trust in Berlin, where she produced a lecture series comparing post-growth and left ecomodernist proposals and strategies as part of her research residency, and is now developing a video series explaining current debates on pathways for social-ecological transformation, from geoengineering to working time reduction. Joanna previously studied comparative literature at Freie Universität Berlin, where she now studies international political economy. She is also a contributing editor at Uneven Earth.
